Mr. Randy L. Forsyth of Millington, MI passed away early Wednesday morning at the age of 63.
Randy was the son of Marie and Burton Forsyth and was born in Saginaw, Michigan on December 2, 1955. Randy grew up in Millington and graduated valedictorian from Millington High School in 1974. After high school he attended The University of Michigan (Flint) and earned a Bachelors degree with high honors. On October 8, 1983 he married the love of his life Ms. Sandra Jaruzel and together they celebrated 35 years of marriage. They had two wonderful children Valerie and Matthew. Randy worked as a truck driver for Nash Finch for 30 plus years. As a family they enjoyed taking road trips together and participating in soap box derby racing. Randy enjoyed classic cars and trucks, woodworking, golfing, and had a passion for gaining knowledge. He had a great eye for details and took meticulous care of all his worldly possessions. His kindness and selflessness was unwavering, always working hard and always available to lend a helping hand.
Randy leaves to cherish his memory; wife Sandra. His two children; Valerie Forsyth and Matthew Forsyth. His mother Marie (Charles) Steele. His sister; Debbra (Michael) Varley and brother Ronald Forsyth. Along with many many in-laws, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
The Forsyth family will receive friends on Saturday April 20, 2019 from 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm at the Hanlin Funeral Home Millington, MI. A rosary service will take place at 7:15 pm. The funeral will be Monday April 22, 2019 at 11:00 am with a time of visitation before services at 10:00 am at the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church Otisville, MI. The family has asked that Memorial Gifts of Remembrance be made to the charity of your choice.
