Arthur James Saeger “Jim” passed away on December 30, 2025, at Henry Ford Genesys. He was 78.

Jim was born to the late Arthur & Luella Saeger on June 30, 1947. He was a lifelong resident of Millington, MI where he graduated High School in 1965. He was married to Patricia (Tarrant) for 54 years and together they raised two daughters. He was in the Army for three years and worked for the Tuscola County Road Commission for 37 years. A lifelong member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Millington, MI he also served on several boards. He was active in his local Union, on the Millington Old Fashioned Days Committee, and a member of Millington Jaycees. He owned and operated Jim’s Antiques in Millington for 18 years. Jim truly enjoyed visiting with people and to be among family and friends.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife: Pat, children Terra (Dan) Standal, and Amy Saeger, four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, brothers and sisters; Richard (Marie) Saeger, Linda (James) Dues, Brenda (Joseph) Frahm, Cindy (Lance) Morey, Jim Quantrell. Brother and sisters-in-laws Robert (Karen) Tarrant, Virgina (Charles) Mannisto, Richard Tarrant, and Patricia Tarrant.

Preceding Jim in death were his parents Luella and Arthur Saeger, sister Carol Quantrell, and brother-in-law John Tarrant.

The family invites you for a time of visitation at Hanlin Funeral Home Millington, MI (4823 Main St. Millington, MI 48746) on Sunday, January 4, 2026, from 1:00 to 7:00 p.m. The Funeral service for Jim will be Monday, January 5, 2026, at St. Paul Lutheran Church (4941Center St. Millington, MI 48746) at 1:00 p.m. with a time of visiting before at 12 p.m. Burial to follow the service at Millington Twp. Cemetery.
