MILLINGTON – Mrs. Betty Ruth Bleuer, aged 94, our mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend passed away peacefully on April 14, 2026, surrounded by her loving family in Caro, Michigan.

Betty was born in Rodman, Iowa, on May 6, 1931, to Clifton & Edna (Redding) Sykes. On October 13, 1950, she married the love of her life, Wilmer “Bill” Bleuer. Together they shared countless memories, raised their children, and celebrated 64 years of marriage before Bill’s passing in 2015. A woman of faith, Betty was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Millington. She enjoyed playing cards and trips to the casino. Above all, her happiest moments were spent with her family.

She is survived by her children: Suzanne Bleuer, Mark Bleuer, Sandra (Roger) Fackler, and Keith (Carol) Bleuer; grandchildren: Joshua (Sarah) Bleuer, Andrea Rankin, Christa Evans, Chad (Jamie) Fackler, Angi (Robert) O’Neil, Cory (Rachel) Butzin, Kyle (Andrew) Joza, Caitlin (Devin) Bush; 14 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; siblings: Alice Prentice, Mary Abbas, James Sykes, and Daniel (Robin) Sykes; as well as nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Betty is reunited with her husband, Bill Bleuer; son, Paul Bleuer; and her parents, Clifton & Edna Sykes.

Honoring their wishes, Bill & Betty will privately be laid to rest in Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly, MI.
