Betty Sayles

Mrs. Betty B. Sayles formerly of Vassar, Michigan passed away early Friday morning November 2, 2018, Betty was 91.

She was born in Port Huron, Michigan on July 1, 1927 where she grew up as a child and graduated from Port Huron High School. On March 28, 1944 Betty married Mr. Kenneth Sayles, and together they celebrated 51 years of marriage before Ken passed away in 1996. Betty loved being with her family, and spending as much time as possible with all the grandchildren, greats and great-greats. She also loved a good steak, a good margarita, and a trip to the Casino from time to time.

Betty leaves here family. Her children; Karl (Linda) Sayles, Steven (Andrea) Sayles, Jeannette (Charles) Stange, Greg (Sue) Sayles, and JoAnne Monchilov. She leaves also many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She leaves also nieces, nephews and other extended family.

In keeping with Betty’s wishes; cremation has taken place. There will be a graveside burial of her urn at a later date. Hanlin Funeral Home in Millington, MI has been assisting with arrangements. There will be no services at the funeral home. Memorial gifts of remembrance can go to a charity of one’s choice.
