VASSAR, formerly MILLINGTON – Mr. Charles K. “Chuck” Wilson, aged 72, our funny, easy going, knowledgeable, and caring husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle and friend was called home on October 8, 2026, at Wellspring Lutheran Home in Frankenmuth, MI.

Chuck was born on May 4, 1954, in Flint, Michigan, to parents Kenneth & Marion Wilson (née Neph). He graduated from Millington High School with the class of 1973 and earned two associate degrees in applied science in Respiratory Therapy Technician and Criminal Justice. On January 19, 1974, he married the love of his life, Vickie. Together they have shared countless memories, raised their children, and celebrated over 52 years of marriage. He was a longtime member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Millington. Chuck retired from Buick City after many years of dedicated service. He enjoyed hunting, riding motorcycles, firearms, watching scary movies and movies about history and war, and classic cars. Above all, Chuck’s happiest moments were spent with his family and with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Vickie Wilson; children: Ken (Kim) Wilson of Frankenmuth, Michael (Kristy) Wilson of Caro, Melissa (Stephen Prescott) Kozan of Millington; grandchildren: Julia (Mark) Sprecksell, Brookelynn Kozan, Matthew Wilson, Kayla Wilson, Krystal Wilson, Savannah Kozan, and Konner Prescott; great-grandchildren: Eloise Sprecksell and Asher Sprecksell; brother, Rodney (Nancy) Wilson; special nieces, Kathy and Triet Tran; and Jodi Lewis; special great-nieces and great-nephews: Ashley Thibeault, Stephen (Lauren) Thibeault, Haylee Lewis, Hayden Scott; as well as other family members.

Chuck was preceded by in death by his parents Mr. Kenneth & Mrs. Marion Wilson.

Memorial services for Chuck will be held at 11:30 A.M. on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Millington (4941 Center Street, Millington, MI 48746); visiting at church will begin at 10:30 A.M. A memorial dinner will follow at St. Paul Lutheran Church.
