Christopher L. Fisher

Mr. Christopher Leslie “Chris” Fisher, age 56, passed away on August 14, 2025, after a battle with throat & neck cancer.

He was born in Flint, Michigan, on July 24, 1969, to Curtis Sr. and Nancy Fisher, who survive. Chris honorably served in the US Navy for 6 years. He previously resided in California, Colorado, and eventually settled in Oscoda, Michigan. He worked in construction and never failed to find work.

In addition to his parents, Chris is survived by his brother, Curt Fisher Jr; stepchildren, Miguel Perez, Daniel Alderman, and Crystal Perez; fiancée Tammy Hollingshead; as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Chris’ family will welcome visitors to Hanlin Funeral Home in Millington on Thursday, August 28, 2025, from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. Services to celebrate Chris’ life will begin at 11 a.m. Military honors to follow.
