David Yost

David Fredrick Yost of Millington passed away early Friday morning September 11, 2015 at the Covenant Care Medical Center in Saginaw, Michigan. David was 44.

David was born in Flint, Michigan on July 20, 1971, and was the son of Rex and Evelyn (Hoard) Yost. David was a Millington High School graduate; graduating with the class of 1989. After high school David joined the US- Navy. While in the Navy David was assigned to the USS-Mt. Hood with the special weapons division. After he left the Navy and returned home; David went to work for the Wolverine Fire Protection/Sprinkler Company, where he became a certified a pipe fitter. Once he achieved becoming a pipe fitter he became a member of pipe fitters local 669

David leaves his son Jacob. He also leaves his parents Rex and Evelyn Yost, a sister and brother in-law; Adorna and husband Joe Mallard Sr. David leaves a special niece Jillie Mallard, his nephews Joe Mallard Jr, John and wife Kim Mallard, niece Lindsay Mallard. He also leaves his many great nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

The Yost family will receive friends at the Hanlin Funeral Home4823 West Main St. in Millington MI 48746 on Monday September 14, 2015 from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm and also after 10:00 am on Tuesday an hour prior to the services beginning. Funeral services for David will held at 11:00 am on Tuesday September 15, 2015 at the Hanlin Funeral Home. The burial and committal services will follow at the Pinegrove Cemetery in Arbela Township, Millington MI. If you would like to give a gift of remembrance in David’s memory the family has asked that in lieu of flowers; please consider either the Millington-Arbela Twp. Fire Dpt. the Millington Community Center, or the Needy Family Fund of Millington
