MILLINGTON – Mr. Frank Donovan Beardslee, age 79, passed away on November 1, 2026, at Medilodge of Frankenmuth, Michigan.

Frank was born on May 27, 1947, in Flint, Michigan, to George & Edith (King) Beardslee. He graduated from the University of Michigan and retired from General Motors. He was drafted into the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and honorably served from 1966-1968. Frank was a true outdoorsman and an avid hunter and fisherman. He hunted game across the United States and made many trips to Africa for safari hunts. His travels took him through Europe and around the world. On May 11, 2002, he married Inge Hoenke and they have shared countless memories and celebrated over 24 years of marriage.

Frank is survived by his wife, Mrs. Inge Beardslee; daughter, Tanya (John) Ottney; son, Damon Beardslee; stepdaughter, Ann A. (Charles) Hu; grandchildren: Reanna, Karina, and Carson; sister, Ann Bain; brothers, Patrick Beardslee, and Robert Beardslee; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Edith Beardslee; and sister, Kathryn Beardslee.

In keeping with Frank’s wishes, cremation has been accorded and no formal gatherings are planned at this time.
