Haley Downer

Haley Downer of Vassar MI passed away Thursday evening June 29,2017 while at St. Mary’s of Saginaw. Haley was 23.

Haley was born in Saginaw Mi on Aug. 23, 1993, she is the daughter of Christine Moore and James Gasser. On August 29,2015 Haley married the love of her life, Jonathon Downer. Haley was employed at St. Michael's of Richville MI. as a pre-school teacher for the 3 yrs. old class and also worked in the child care. She also worked with the Girl Scouts, and worked on many fundraisers.

Besides her parents Haley is survived by her sisters; Shelby Gasser and Chelsea Gasser; several sets of grandparents, many aunts and uncles, and a very loving extended family and friends.

Haley was a very loving and caring young lady. Even at the end she became a Gift of Life Donor, still helping other people.

Visitation with Haley's family will be on Friday July 7, 2017 beginning at 10:00 am at the First Baptist Church of Vassar (5880 Frankenmuth Rd.). Funeral services will be held on Friday July 7, 2017 beginning at 12:00 pm Friday. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be directed to St. Michael's pre-school division.
