Holly Ann Legue, age 63, our determined, hard-working, loving, caring, and courageous, wife, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away on January 11, 2026, at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Holly was born on December 24, 1962, in Saginaw, Michigan, to parents Alfred & Connie (Service) Legue. She was raised alongside her younger sister, Staci, and brother, Scott, and attended Millington schools. A gifted athlete, Holly played volleyball, softball, and basketball. Notably, before Millington High School began their women’s basketball team, Holly joined and played with the men’s basketball squad. On August 29, 2015, Holly married the love of her life, Cheri Lynn Barkman. Together they have shared countless memories and celebrated over 10 years of marriage. In her working years, Holly managed several retail companies and owned several businesses of her own. She had a tenacious work ethic and took great pride in her work. Holly loved to travel and go on cruises. She especially enjoyed time spent by water and visiting lighthouses. She enjoyed playing a round of golf and a good game of euchre. Above all, Holly loved her family and it brought her great joy to spend time with them. She organized many get-togethers and coordinated the family Easter egg hunts for the kids and adults. She will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.

Holly is forever loved by her wife, Cheri Barkman; stepmother, Linda Legue; sister, Staci (Chuck) Bell; brother, Scott Legue; nieces & nephews: Dana (Wallace) Blackmer, Kimberly (Gary) Blackmer, Chelsea (Eli) Peters, Jennifer (Louis) Blevins, Jared Legue, Jacob Legue, and Kayla (fiancé, Rhett Moore) Thompson; great-nieces, Chloe and Zoey; great-nephew, Liam; sister-in-law, Kimberly (Ken) Thompson; as well as extended family, and friends.

Holly is reunited with her father, Alfred Legue; mother, Connie Trimble; sister-in-law, Carol Legue; many aunts, uncles, and other family members; beloved fur-baby, Sobe.

Holly’s family will receive visitors at Hanlin Funeral Home in Millington from 3 – 7 p.m. on Thursday, January 15, 2026. Funeral services will follow at the funeral home at 11 a.m. on Friday, January 16, 2026; additional visitation from 10 a.m. until the time of services.
