Janet S. Kapala

Janet S. Kapala, 58, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 7^th, 2023, at her home in the care of her loving family.

Janet was born in Saginaw on September 25^th, 1964, to James & Shirley (Franctk) Kapala. She married Donald Kapala, and together they raised their two children Tracy and Jason. She worked for many years at Vic’s Market as a cashier. She loved to read & put puzzles together. Above all, Janet loved her family and spending time with them.

She is survived by her children, Tracy (Kevin) Fent and Jason (Anna) Kapala; 7 grandchildren; father, James (Cathy) Kapala; brothers: Duane (Sharon), Steven (Susan), and James (Aileen); sisters: Debra (Joseph), Mary (Timothy), Barbara (Floyd); several nieces & nephews, extended family, and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Donald; mother, Shirley; and two infant brothers.

Private arrangements have been entrusted to Hanlin Funeral Home – Vassar.
