Jean Borcherding

October 30, 1951 — March 22, 2013

Jean K. (Honold) Borcherding of Vassar passed away early Friday morning March 22, 2013 at her residence, Jean was 61.

Jean was born on October 30, 1951 in Saginaw, MI and was the daughter of the late Norman & Doris (Taylor) Honold. Jean was a graduate of Frankenmuth High School class of 1970. In May of 1973 Jean married her husband of almost 40 years Tom Borcherding. Jean was also employed for 13 years with the former Means Industry in Vassar MI. and was also long time member of the St. Luke Lutheran Church in Vassar MI.

Jean leaves to cherish her memory, husband Tom, two daughters, Casey Borcherding, and Kelli Borcherding. Jean leaves also a brother and sister in-law Dale & Debbie Honold, a sister Ruth Ann Horzenski, as well as nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Service Information

Funeral services for Jean were held Tuesday March 26, 2013 at the St. Luke Lutheran Church in Vassar MI. Following the services entombment took place at the Garden of the Apostles Mausoleum at the East Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Saginaw MI. Memorial gifts of remembrance can be directed to the St. Luke Lutheran Church, or the Bullard-Sanford Library in Vassar.
