Mr. John Kosuth, aged 69, a caring, hardworking, and loving father, partner, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend passed away suddenly on August 1, 2026.

John was born January 6,1957 in Detroit, Michigan. He was the son of Charles, and Frances (Tomac) Kosuth. John Completed his electrical engineering studies at Rets Electronics Institution and led a career in environmental controls. John loved the outdoors and all it had to offer whether it was fishing, hunting, boating, or hiking and camping. He was especially fond of and loved his trips to Canada where he would enjoy being in nature and getting away from the busyness of the city. He also enjoyed music and going out to listen to live bands, especially Jazz and Blues bands. He also had an extremely creative mind. He enjoyed creating and building inventions that he believed would be a positive addition to many kinds of businesses across the state. John’s happiest moments were those he spent with his partner, Patricia; his family, loved ones and friends. He will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him.

John is survived by his partner, Patricia Gomoluch; Children: Justin (Kellie) Kosuth, Tiera (Michael) Lair and Preston Kosuth; Grandchildren: Rhyan Walters, Abigail Kosuth, Jordyn Walters, Marissa Kosuth, Morgan Walters, Harley Kosuth, Beckett Lair, Gabriel Kosuth, Emerson Lair, and Ivy Kosuth; Brother: Daniel Kosuth (Colleen) Sisters: Patricia Kosuth and Elizabeth Kosuth (Goudarz); Sister in Law: Christine Kosuth; Nephews and Nieces: Charles Kosuth (Margaret), Sara (Douglas) Sharp, Michael Kosuth, and Mitra Haji; and Great Nephews and Nieces: Ronan Kosuth, Oliver Sharp and Quinn Sharp.

John is reunited with his parents Charles and Frances Kosuth and his brothers, David Kosuth and Charles Kosuth.

Private arrangements have been made. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
