Keith Valentine

Mr. Keith J. Valentine a lifelong resident of Millington passed away early Wednesday afternoon June 17, 2015 while at the Covenant Health Care Center-Harrison Campus in Saginaw, Michigan. Keith was 85.

Keith was born in Millington on June 26, 1929, and was the son of the late Charles and Iva (Lanfer) Valentine. Keith was a 1947 graduate from the Millington High School. During the Korean War Keith served our country in the United States Army. When he returned Keith went to work with General Motors in the Buick Motor Division, he retired in 1988 after 39 years of employment. Keith was a past member; of the Conrad-Wager & Keene American Legion Post 164, a past member of the Millington Church of the Nazarene, and a past member of the UAW – Local 599.

Keith leaves; his children, three sons and a daughter in-law. Steve & Debbie Valentine: Thomas (Tom) Valentine, and Jeff Valentine. He leaves also a brother and sister in-law, Jim and Linda Valentine, a sister in-law Betty Valentine, several nieces, nephews, and other extended family. Besides his parents Keith is preceded in death by two brothers, Ken, and Kermit Valentine.

The Valentine family will receive friends at the Hanlin Funeral Home in Millington, on Friday from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm and also on Saturday from 10:00 am unti the services begin. Funeral services for Keith will be at 11:00 am on Saturday June 20, 2015 at the Hanlin Funeral Home. The burial will follow at the Millington Township Cemetery, in Millington. Pastor Brad Pettitt will deliver the funeral message and the closing prayer at the Cemetery. Military Honors conducted by the Conrad-Wager& Keene American Legion Post #164will conclude final services at the Cemetery. Memorial gifts of remembrance can be given to the Gideon's or to a charity of your choice.
