Millington - Marilyn Claire Daenzer, age 82, a life-long Millington resident, passed away peacefully into the arms of her Lord and Savior on Friday, March 25, 2022.
Marilyn Claire Heuchert, was born on December 10, 1939, in Millington, to the late Gustav and the late Dorothy (MacKeegan) Heuchert. She was raised alongside her sister Carol and graduated from Millington High School with the Class of 1957. Marilyn met Clarence Daenzer in high school; they dated, fell in love, and were united in marriage on February 28, 1958, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Millington. Together they shared 36 years of marriage, countless memories, and raised seven children. Marilyn is now reunited with Clarence who entered eternal rest in 1994.
Marilyn was deeply devoted to and loved spending time with her family. She was passionate about card games (especially Canasta, Hand & Foot, and Phase 10). She loved baking with her grandchildren and shared their affection for music. She was an active member of the church, involved with Dorcas Society, a past president of the Lutheran Women's Missionary League (LWML) and a member of the choir. Marilyn was a true and loyal friend who enthusiastically welcomed every visitor. Above all, Marilyn was dedicated to her Lord.
She is forever loved by her children: Julie (Eugene) Weiss, Mike (Tammy) Daenzer, Patty (Dan) Petzold, Pete Daenzer, Sherry (Russ) Ill, Tim (Connie) Daenzer, and Karen Duckworth; a beloved grandmother to 22 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren, with two more on the way; a dear sister-in-law to Ruth McNiel; and will be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and very dear friends.
Welcoming Marilyn home to heaven are her parents; husband, Clarence; sister, Carol Cypher; and special cousin, Donald Heuchert.
