MILLINGTON – Mrs. Marilyn Jeane Warner, aged 77, our kind, caring, and loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend was called away on June 27, 2026, in the peace of her home surrounded by her loving family.
Marilyn was born on May 2, 1949, in Mount Clemens, Michigan, to Floyd & Shirley Brookins (née Morse). On October 18, 1969, she married the love of her life Frank “Tom” Warner. Together they shared countless memories, raised their children Thomas and Tracey, and celebrated over 37 years of marriage before he passed away in 2007. Marilyn enjoyed trips to the casino, visiting giraffes at zoos, watching freighters move through the locks, and playing cards and board games. Above all, Marilyn’s happiest moments were spent with her family and at family gatherings. She will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.
Marilyn is forever loved by her children, Thomas (Judy) Warner, and Tracey Lamar; grandchildren: Jenna Warner, Ryan Detgen, and Tyler (Lindsey) Warner; great-grandchildren: Carter Detgen, Barrett Warner, Blaize Warner, and Bowden Warner; siblings: Keith (Ellen) Brookins, Linda Creel, and Vickie Brookins; as well as several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
She is reunited with her husband, Tom Warner; parents, Floyd and Shirley Brookins, and brother, Randy Brookins.
Cremation has been arranged and no formal gatherings are to be held.
