CARO – Mrs. Mary Ann Thompson, aged 74, our caring, faith-filled, and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend passed away September 15, 2026, surrounded by the warmth of her loving family.

Mary Ann was born on March 9, 1952, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri to parents, Raymond and Betty Finley. On November 28, 1975, she married the love of her life, Mr. Herman Lee Thompson. Together they have shared countless memories, raised their children, and celebrated over 51 years of marriage. Mary Ann retired from the State of Michigan as a physical therapist aide after 30 years of dedicated care. A woman of great faith, Mary Ann's relationship with her Lord & Savior was near and dear to her throughout her life. She enjoyed sewing, writing, singing, and playing with her grandchildren. Above all, Mary Ann's happiest moments were spent with family and grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.

Mary Ann is survived by her husband, Mr. Herman Lee Thompson; children: Lee Thompson, Eric Thompson (Caitlain), and Corrie Clemens (Thompson); grandchildren, Austin Clemens, and Hayden Thompson; siblings: Ray Finley (Marsha), Wesley Finley, Thomas Finley (Roseanne), Mildred Boots (Donald), Benjamin Finley (Michele), Albert ‘Sam’ Finley, Daniel Finley (Michelle), Alice Smith (David), Woodrow Finley (Mitz), Robert Finley (Wendy); as well as nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

She is reunited with: Raymond and Betty Finley, Roy Finley, Winston Finley, Ronnie Finley, Cathy Martin, Peg Finley.

A celebration of Mary’s life will be held in the Spring of 2027. Details will be announced at a later date.
