Mr. Bernard Rohrer

Mr. Bernard E. (Bernie) Rohrer of Millington passed away early Saturday morning December 27, 2014 at his Millington residence, Bernie was 88.

Bernie was born on January 16th, of 1926 in Watertown Township Michigan and was the son of Lewis and Cora (Richardson) Rohrer. He married Carolyn Backmer, he and Carolyn celebrated 54 years of marriage before Carolyn passed away in September of 1999. Bernie worked 24 years with the Tuscola County Road Commission as a mechanic before he retired in 1991. He served our country during WW II in the US-Army.

Bernie leaves two daughters; Cathy Harris, and Mary Colling. He leaves also six grandchildren; Terry Lee, Bill, Julie, Tina, Mark and Tony, six great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other extended family and friends. Besides his wife and parents Bernie is also preceded in death by a son Larry, and Bernie's siblings.

Service Information

Funeral services were held Wednesday December 31, 2014 at the Hanlin Funeral Home. The burial followed at the Watertown Township Cemetery in Fostoria Michigan.
