Mr. Carl Straub of Millington passed away Saturday June 7, 2014 while at the Genesys Regional Medical Center in Grand Blanc, Michigan, Carl was 83.

Carl was born on October 1, of 1930 in Chicago Illinois, and was the son of the late Andrew & Ida (Briether) Straub. On June 28 of 1952 Carl married Marlene Gramse, and together he and Marlene have celebrated 61 years of marriage. Carl dedicated his life to education. He retired from St. Paul Lutheran School in 1994 after serving many years as the Principal. During his career Carl served on many committees and boards for higher education at the Michigan District Missouri Synod Lutheran Schools.

Carl leaves; wife Marlene, children, Kathryn & husband James Bartz, son David Straub, and Son Paul & wife Suzanne Straub. Three grandchildren, Kevin & wife Deborah Bartz, Steve Bartz, and Evan Straub.
