Mr. Clayton Damm

November 9, 1946 — October 31, 2012

Mr. Clayton D. Damm of Millington passed from our world into God's Kingdom early Wednesday morning October 31, 2012 while at the Covenant Medical Center Cooper Campus in Saginaw, Clayton was 65.

Clayton was the son of the late Eittle, & Mable (Schaaf) Damm and was born in Pigeon Michigan on November 9, 1946. On October 24, of 1970 Clayton married his wife of 42 years Miss Faith Rohde. Clayton was employed for 30 years with General Motors Delphi Division retiring in 1997.

Clayton was also a member of the Conrad-Wager & Keene American Legion Post 164 of Millington, he was also a member for many years at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Millington.

Clayton leaves his wife Faith, his siblings, Dorothy Putman, Lloyd & Delores Damm, Margaruite Turner, Joyce Hecht, Evelyn & Ron Sharko, Lillian Benson, Ken & Connie Damm, and Mary Lou & Tom Kusant, as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends he leaves also the many day-care kids from the years of helping Faith with day care. Clayton also leaves his extended family mother and father in-law Linda & Richard Rohde, brother in-law and his wife Alan & Sally Rohde, and Barbara & Scott Bassett, sister's in-laws Delores Damm, and Jan Damm. Besides his parents Clayton is also preceded in death by brothers Martin, Devere, Richard, and Gary Damm.

Service Information

Funeral services were held Saturday Nov. 3, 2012 at the St. Paul Lutheran church. The burial to followed at the Millington Twp. Cemetery.

Pastor Kirk Abatelli delivered the funeral message and the closing prayers at the cemetery. The services at the cemetery were concluded with Military honors conducted by the Conrad-Wager & Keene American Legion Post #164.
