Mr. David Donnelly

David A Donnelly, 87, of Caro, (formerly of Fort Wayne, Indiana) passed away on February 22, 2013 with his family at his side.

David is predeceased by his mother and father, Joseph and Madaline Donnelly, of Glens Falls, NY. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Eva R. Donnelly. David is lovingly remembered by his four children: Patricia Wilson of Novi, MI, Dan (Polly) Donnelly of Fairfax, VA, Kathy (Rick) Theurer of Vassar, MI, Teresa (Kevin) Halter of West Lafayette, IN. Also surviving are his brother James T. Donnelly of Glens Falls, NY, five nieces and nephews, and nine grandchildren: Gabe (Katie) Theurer, Alexis Theurer, Alexander Theurer, Katy Theurer, David Theurer, Casey Donnelly, Dani Donnelly, Keegan Halter, and Ian Halter.

David graduated from RPI in 1946 with a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and served as an ensign in the U.S. Navy from 1943 to 1946. He went on to work at General Electric, retiring in 1985. Memorial donations may be made to any Veteran Support Center.

A private burial has taken place at the Catholic Cemetery of Fort Wayne in Fort Wayne IN.
