Mr.Donald Heuchert

Donald G. (Don) Heuchert of Millington, Michigan passed peacefully from our world into God’s Kingdom early Thursday morning December 31, 2015. Don was 66.

Don was born in Flint, Michigan on May 21, 1949; and was the son of the late Alfred & Helen (McKeegan) Heuchert. Don was a life member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. Don was baptized raised and confirmed at St. Paul Lutheran Church. On December 7, 1968 Don married Miss Cheryl Shrum, she and Don have celebrated 47 years of marriage. Don retired in 1999 from AC/Delphi division of General Motors, where he worked 31 years as a Tool and Die maker.

Don leaves his wife Cheryl, a son and daughter in-law Eric and Jenny Heuchert. He leaves also two grandchildren; Trevor and Allie; his special cousin Marilyn Daenzer, his God Children, Pete Daenzer, Lori Osborn, and Amy Costr, sister’s in-law and their spouses; Susan and Terry Jones, Sally and Jack Suttle, and many other cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.

The Heuchert family will receive friends at the Hanlin Funeral Home in Millington on Monday January 4th, 2016 from 2:00 m to 8:00 pm. There will be a brief visitation on Tuesday from 12:00 noon until the services begin. Funeral services for Don will be Tuesday January 5, 2016 at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Millington. The burial will follow at the Millington Township Cemetery. Memorial Gifts of Remembrance can be directed to the St. Pau Lutheran Church.
