Mr. James Harvey

Harvey, James L. Jr of Battle Creek, Age 59, went to be with his lord and savior on December 9, 2015. A grave side service will take place at 1:00 pm, Tuesday December 15, 2015 at Flint Memorial Park Chapel in Mt. Morris. Those desiring may make contributions to the Aleda E. Lutz VA Medical Center in Saginaw, or the Battle Creek VA Medical Center. Jim was born on July 26, 1956 in Detroit the son of James L. Harvey Sr. and Roseann (Nelson) Harvey. He proudly served and was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. Jim recently retired from the Department of Veterans Affairs where he had many friends and colleagues.

Left to cherish his memory are sister Cindy (Dees) and Greg Sedlacek, brother Gary Harvey and spouse, cousins, and aunt. Jim was preceded in death by his parents, brother Steven Harvey, grandparents Margaret McIntyre, and Alvin & Beatrice Thibodeau.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday December 15, 2015 at 1:00pm at the Flint Memorial Park Cemetery in Mt. Morris, Michigan. There will be no services or visitation at the funeral home.
