Mr. Laurence Titsworth

Mr. Laurence D. (Larry) Titsworth of Hale, MI formerly of Millington, MI passed away late Monday evening February 13, 2017 while at the Medilodge of Frankenmuth, MI. Larry was 86.

Laurence was born on September 29, 1930 in Vassar, MI and was the son of the late Henry and Hattie (Wells) Titsworth. On September 23, 1950 Laurence married Miss Ida Louise McTaggert, and together they celebrated 65 years together before her passing in May of 2015. Larry was retired from General Motors Fisher Body Division as a Die Maker. He retired in 1986 after 30 with General Motors. He was a past member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Millington, MI. Larry was currently attending St. Paul Lutheran Church in Hale, MI. He was very active with St. Paul in Hale serving the church by helping with many of the general maintenance duties. Larry loved being outdoors spending time hunting, fishing, and just being outside. In his time, Larry built and remodeled many homes, most of which are still currently homes that families are living in.

Larry leaves to cherish his memory; are his five children. Steven D. and Jan Titsworth, Bruce R and HuiYon Titsworth, Rhonda J. and Brad Nielson, Corinne K. and Richard Lindow and Curtis J and Margo Titsworth. He leaves also 12 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; as well as several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Besides his parents, and wife Larry is also preceded in death by; two brothers, Junior Henry Richard, and Wayne E. Titsworth.

The Titsworth family will receive friends at the Hanlin Funeral Home in Millington, MI on Thursday February 16, 2017 from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm and also for a brief time after 12:00 pm on Friday at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Millington, MI. Funeral services for Larry will be at 1:00 pm on Friday February 17, 2017 at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Millington, MI. The burial will follow at the Millington Twp. Cemetery.
