Mr. Lewis Jewell

Lewis (Louie) Jewell of Frankenmuth a former longtime Millington resident , passed away early Wednesday afternoon April 4, 2012 while at the Genesys Health Park Medical Center in Grand Blanc MI, and is now forever with his Phyllis, Louie was 80.

Louie was born on November 27, 1931 in Vanderbelt Michigan to the late Clarence and Sadie (Morris) Jewell. Louie was married to the late Phyllis Charboneau. He and Phyllis celebrated many years of marriage before her passing in April of 2008. Louie served our country in the US-Navy. He was also a longtime employee of IBM as a computer systems manager.

Louie leaves his children, son, Russell & wife Deborah Jewell, daughter Linda & husband Tim Conrad, five grandchildren; Christopher, Melissa, Cody, Andy, and Joey, great-grandchildren; Lillie, Charlie, Jonathan, Serenity, and William, three sisters; Ann Roy, Esther Hippensteel, and Helen Hoffman. Louie also leaves several nieces, nephews and extended family. Besides his wife Louie is preceded in death by six brothers; Virgil, David, Rowan, Rusty, Lyle, and Jack, also a sister Joy Smith

The family has honored Louie's request and cremation has taken place. A time of sharing and celebrating Louie's life was held on Thursday April 12, 2012 at the Vassar Eagles Hall.
