Mr. Paul R. Lurvey of Prudenville, Michigan formerly of Millington, Michigan passed away Tuesday July 17, 2018, at the age of 85.
Paul was born in Flint, Michigan on December 29, 1932 and was the son of the late Gladwin and Eva (Forbes) Lurvey. Paul served our country in the US- Marines Corp during the Korean War. He was an engineer with General Motors Ternstead Division on Coldwater Road in Flint, Michigan, and retired after 33 years. Paul is a past member of the Otter Lake American Legion.
Paul Leaves his family to cherish his memory. Donald R. (Karen) Clark, Douglas S. (Sherry) Lurvey, and Paula Heidebreicht. He leaves also 12, grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and other extended family. Besides his parents Paul is preceded in death by a son Bradley, his wife Noreen and brothers; Lance, Eugene, Bill, and a sister Noreen.
The Lurvey family will receive friends at the Hanlin Funeral Home in Millington, MI on Friday from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm and for a brief time Saturday from 10:00 am until the services begin. Funeral Services for Paul will also be at the Hanlin Funeral Home in Millington, MI on Saturday July 21, 2018 beginning at 11:00 am. A private burial will follow at the Thetford Twp. Cemetery in Clio, MI. Pastor Rhyan Glezman will deliver the eulogy, funeral message, and the closing prayer at the funeral home. Memorial Gifts of remembrance can be directed to charity of one’s choice.
