Mr. Ronald Keinath

Ronald N. Keinath of Vassar, MI passed away suddenly on December 24, 2017. Ron was 72.

Ron was born on May 21, 1945, to Henry and Lillian Keinath. He was a lifelong member of St. Michael’s Lutheran Church in Richville, MI. He married Kay VanPetten-Hecht on February 6, 1976. He was a lifelong resident of Vassar, Michigan, where he was a partner of Keinath Brothers’ Dairy Farm. Ron enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Ron leaves to cherish his memory-his wife Kay, son Jeff and daughter-in-law Lori Hecht; daughters, Janel and son-in-law Eric Woodward; Ronda and son-in-law Jeff Weiss; and his grandchildren- Jacob, Joshua, and Noah Hecht; Alexis, Jared, Jillian, Levi, and Nolan Woodward; Ethan and Kaitlyn Weiss; and his four brothers and one sister--Larry Keinath; Robert and sister-in-law Elaine Keinath; Janice and brother-in-law James Kribs; and John and sister-in-law Carol Keinath; brother-in-law Ralph Worden. Ron was preceeded in death by his parents Henry and Lillian Keinath, and sister Rosemary (Ralph) Worden.

The Keinath family will receive friends at Hanlin Funeral Home Thursday from 3:00-7:00pm and Friday at St. Michael’s Lutheran Church in Richville from 10:00 am until the service. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00am Friday, December 29, 2017 at St. Michael’s Lutheran Church in Richville with the burial at St. Michaels cemetery.
