Mrs. Bernice Steward

Mrs. Bernice L. (Bosley) Steward of Vassar formerly of Prudenville, MI passed away early Monday morning July 7, 2014 at her Vassar residence, Bernice was 93.

Bernice was the daughter of the late Frank & Ada (Sampson) Bosley, and was born in Akron Michigan on December 20, 1920. Bernice was married to the late Alvin Steward; Alvin precedes her in death in April of 2012.

Bernice leaves her two children; son Carl & wife Maureen Kralik, and daughter Barbara & husband Norman Kern. She leaves also seven grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren, as well as nieces, nephews and other extended family. Besides her parents and her husband, Bernice is also preceded in death by a great-grandson, a great-great grandson, two great-great- granddaughters, two sisters, and two brothers.

Funeral services were held on Thursday July 10, 2014 beginning at the Hanlin Funeral Home in Millington. The burial followed at the Sunset Hills Cemetery in Flint, Michigan.
