Mrs. Crystal Sebert

Mrs. Crystal L. (Hoard) Sebert of Millington passed away early Sunday morning April, 27, 2014 while at the Carey's Young at Heart Nursing Home in Caro, Crystal was 90.

Crystal was born in Otisville Michigan on September 18, 1923, and was the daughter of the late Charles and Agnes (Gibson) Hoard. In November of 1940 Crystal married Robert Sebert. Together she and Robert celebrated 37 years of marriage before his passing in 1977. Crystal was employed and retired for Hudson Department Store. She was also a lifelong member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Millington.

Crystal leaves her children; Robert & wife Diane Sebert, Keith Sebert, Carol & husband Lee Deneen, Deb & husband Dave Cobb, Ken & wife Sherry Sebert, Brenda & husband Vince Licavoli, Doug & wife Wendy Sebert, and Bill Sebert. Crystal leaves also 27 grandchildren, 50 great grandchildren, and 6-great-great grandchildren, as well as several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Besides her husband Crystal is preceded in death by a grandson Charles Sebert, and all of her siblings.

Service Information

The family will receive friends at the Hanlin Funeral Home in Millington on Wednesday April 30, 2014 from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm, and also on Thursday an hour prior to the services. Funeral services will held 1:00 pm on Thursday May 1, 2014 at the St. Paul Lutheran Church. Burial will follow at the Millington Twp. Cemetery in Millington. Crystal will lie in state at St. Paul Lutheran Church on Thursday where friends may call from 12:00 pm until services begin.

Memorial gifts of remembrance can be given in memory to St. Paul Lutheran Church, Carey's Young at Heart Nursing Home, Elkton United Methodist Church, or to the family.
