Mrs. Dianne Petzold

Mrs. Dianne E. (Swihart) Petzold of Millington, passed away early Sunday morning August 28, 2016 while at the Henry Ford Medical Center in Detroit, Michigan, Dianne was 70.

Dianne was born in Flint, Michigan on September 14, 1945 and was the daughter of the late Vernon and Maxine (Huber) Swihart. In 1964 Dianne graduated from Clio High School. Dianne married Dale Petzold on August 28, 1980, and together they celebrated 34 years of marriage before Dale passed in June of 2015. Dianne loved to spend time with family, she loved gardening, crafting, cooking, drawing, garage sales, and her pets. She was also a long time member of St. Paul Lutheran Church.

Dianne leaves her children. Daughter and son in-law; Rhonda and Perry Martin, daughter Loralea Raspolic, and son Jonathan Petzold. Dianne also leaves three grandchildren; Corey, Ryan, and Meagan, a sister Sandra Johnson, and several nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends. Besides her husband and parents, Dianne is also preceded in death by a brother Dennis Swihart.

The Petzold family will receive friends at the Hanlin Funeral Home in Millington, MI on Wednesday August 31, 2016 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm and also on Thursday September 1, 2016 at the St. Paul Lutheran Church from 1:00 pm until the services begin. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 pm on Thursday September 1, 2016 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Millington, MI. The burial will follow at the Newton Cemetery in Arbela Twp.
