Dorothy Mae (June) Lincoln our loving mother & grandmother went home to be with our Lord on Wednesday August 20, 2014, Dorothy was 86.

Dorothy was born in Millington on May 8, 1928, and was the daughter of the late Fred & Johanna (Grunst) June; Dorothy grew up on the family farm east of Millington. After she graduated Dorothy worked as a bookkeeper in Flint where she met her husband Calvin (Red) Lincoln they were married on July 7, 1951. They settled in their country home in Millington. After 60 years of marriage Calvin (Red) preceded her in death on July 5, 2011. Dorothy was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and later St. Martin Lutheran Church. She was very active in her church and teaching her children to love the Lord. Dorothy loved making quilts, crafting, reading, and enjoyed the outdoors.

Dorothy leaves her children daughter Elizabeth & husband Lee Gahagan, and son Keith Lincoln; grandchildren Adam & wife Kayla Gahagan, Lisa Gahagan, Christine Lincoln, and Mike Lincoln; great-grandchildren Nasir Jenkins, Terrance Lincoln, Daylena Brown, Elijah and Brooke Gahagan; brother Fred June. Besides her husband and parents Dorothy is also preceded in death by a sister Edna June and a brother Bob June.

Service Information

A celebration of Dorothy's life was held on Saturday August 30, 2014 at the Hanlin Funeral Home in Millington. A private burial of her urn will take place at a later date.
