Mrs. Dorothy Smith

Mrs. Dorothy F. (Johnson) Smith of Grand Blanc, MI passed away Wednesday December 14, 2016 at the Genesys Regional Medical Center in Grand Blanc Twp. MI. Dorothy was 59.

Dorothy was born in Flint, MI on September 25, 1957 and was the daughter of Jonathan and Marlene (Cook) Johnson. Dorothy was an LPN – Nurse and worked when she was able for various nursing homes. Dorothy was married to Mr. Joseph Smith, and they have celebrated many years together.

Dorothy leaves to cherish her memory, her husband Joe. She also leaves her children; Adam Blaisdell, Lindsay Blaisdell, Ryan Blaisdell, Kim Blaisdell, and Jamie Braden, and Carrie Blaisdell. She leaves several grandchildren, three brothers; Mark Johnson, Dave Johnson, and Sam Johnson, three sisters; Laurie Morse, Goldie Losey, and Nita Warden, and her mother Mrs. Marlene Johnson. Dorothy also leave several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Dorothy is preceded in death by her father and a brother John Jobson.

The family will receive friends at the Hanlin Funeral Home in Millington, MI [4823 W. Main Street] on Monday Dec. 19, 2016 from 2:00 pm until 7:00. At 7:00 pm there will be a brief memorial. After which the family will honor Dorothy’s wish and cremation will follow. Memorial gifts of remembrance can do a charity of one’s choice or to the family.
