Mrs. Gwenlyn Maxson

April 15, 1941 — January 27, 2017

Mrs. Gwenlyn M. Maxson of Frankenmuth, MI formerly of Millington, MI passed away early Friday morning January 27, 2017 at her home in Frankenmuth, MI. Gwenlyn was 75.
Gwenlyn was born in Flint, Michigan on April 15, 1943 and was the daughter of the late Frank and Zelpha (Pauley) Bradshaw. On July 16, 1957 Gwenlyn married Richard Maxson, and together they celebrated 56 years of marriage before his passing in April of 2013. Gwenlyn retire for the home health care profession working for many area agency’s as an Aid.
Gwenlyn leaves her children; Les and Diane Maxson, Richard Maxson, Betty Maxson, Denna and Mike Beckman, Tina and Tom Marcellis, Peggy and Steve Wipf, William Maxson, and Debbi and Terry Maiers: 27 grandchildren, and 24 great-grandchildren. She leaves also; a twin sister Gwenivere Dugdale, and other extended family. Besides her husband and parents, Gwenlyn is also preceded in death by; two children Joan Anne, and Ricky Allen, two grandsons Tyler Haggeerty, and Jonathan Maiers, and a sister Eleanor Roderick.



The Maxson family will receive friend on Monday January 30, 2017 at the Hanlin Funeral Home in Millington MI from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. A service will begin at 6:00pm. In keeping with Gwenlyn’s request cremation will follow with a private interment of her urn at a later date. Memorial gifts can be directed to a charity of your choice.
