Mrs. Helen Gibson

Helen Gibson longtime Millington resident passed away late Sunday April 22, 2012 with family at her side, while at Covenant Health Care-Cooper Campus in Saginaw, Helen was 96.

Helen was born on July 22, 1915 and was the daughter of John & Anna (Brozozuski) Sulicki. Helen celebrated many wonderful years of marriage with her late husband Gerald C. Gibson, besides her husband Helen is also preceded in death by a daughter Virginia Miner, and a son Gerald T. Gibson.

For many years Helen owned and operated her own Beauty Shop which was located on the backside of her residence. She was a devoted member of St. Frances Xavier Cabrini Catholic Church in Vassar Michigan of which she was still actively attending.

Helen leaves her two daughters and a son in-law; Sharon & Ron Foskett, and Ann Hecht, eleven grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, son in-law Larry Miner, and daughter in-law Judy Gibson as well as several nieces, nephews, and other extended family.

Mass of the Christian Burial was held on Thursday April 26, 2012 at the St. Frances Xavier Cabrini Catholic Church in Vassar MI. The burial followed at the Millington Township Cemetery in Millington. Memorial gifts of remembrance can be directed to the family for a memorial to be established at a later date.
