Mrs. Ilene Weber

Mrs. Ilene A. (Petzold) Weber of Millington passed away early Friday morning while at the Covenant Health Care Center- Cooper Campus in Saginaw, Ilene was 84.

Born in Millington on March 14, 1929 Ilene was the daughter of the late Edward & Clara (Lyndauer) Petzold, on September 2, of 1950 Ilene married Arthur Weber and together she and Arthur have celebrated 63 years of marriage.


Ilene leaves her husband Arthur, children, Larry & wife Pam Weber, daughter Maureen & husband Ray Sowden, five grandchildren, Timothy, Kendra, Elizabeth, Jill and Stephanie, 13 great grandchildren, one brother Wayne Petzold as well as several nieces, nephews and other extended family. Ilene is preceded in death by a granddaughter Shelley, sister Hilda Schmidt, and 3- brothers Donald, Clarence, and Harold Petzold.

Funeral services were held at the Hanlin Funeral Home on Tuesday January 14, 2014, with a private burial that followed at the Millington Twp. Cemetery. Pastor James Bruner delivered the funeral message and closing prayer. Memorial gifts of remembrance can still be directed to the St. Paul Lutheran Church.
