Mrs. Joan Willett

Mrs. Joan P. Willett of Millington passed away early Monday morning November 17, 2014 while at the Genesys Regional Medical Center in Grand Blanc Michigan, Joan was 81.

Joan was born in Flint, Michigan on March 17th of 1933 and was the daughter of the late Ronald and Margaret (Peru) Simerson. On April 6th of 1963 Joan married Jack Willett and together she and Jack have celebrated 51 years of marriage. Besides her parents Joan is preceded in death also by a daughter Lois Margaret Harris, her beloved sister Mrs. Lois Thorton, of whom she and Lois were very close and always did things together.

Joan leaves; her husband Jack, children, Larry and wife Debbie Hammond, Carla and husband Miles Shafer, four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, a brother Ronald and wife Evelyn Simerson, as well as several nieces, nephews, other extended family and friends.
