Mrs. Lois E. (Gibson) Brown of Millington passed away early Monday evening at the Harrison Campus of Covenant Health Care in Saginaw, Lois was 79.

Born in Knoxville Tennessee on May 7, 1935, Lois was the daughter of the late Horace & Mary (Forester) Gibson. Marion is preceded in death by her late husband Marvin Brown, several siblings, and her parents.

Lois leaves her children; Mary & husband Larry Kelley, Kevin & wife Serena Brown, Benjamin Brown, and Steven Brown, Barb Trollman, seven grand children, one great-grandson. Lois also leaves two brothers David Brown, and Bill & wife Juanita Gibson, four sisters, Barbara Collette, Lula & husband Wint Rice, Karen Gibson, Sue & husband Bob Bolip, several nieces, nephews and other extended family.

Service Information

Funeral services for Lois were held on Friday May 16, 2014 at the Calvary Apostolic Tabernacle Church in Flint MI. Pastor Mary Dupre delivered the funeral message and closing prayer at the cemetery. The burial followed at the Crestwood Memorial Gardens Cemetery on Hill Road in Grand Blanc MI.
