Mrs. Mary Kipfer

Mary Celestia Kipfer of Millington, MI passed away Monday January 30, 2017 while at the Gross Assisted Lining in Vienna Twp. Clio, MI. Mary was 93 and was in the care of Angelic Heart Hospice when she passed.

Mary was born on March 8, 1923 in Leadore, Idaho and was the daughter of the late Chauncey and Myrtle (West) Robertson. She met and married Harvey Kipfer in Salt Lake City Utah, while Harvey was in the Army. Later after Harvey got out of the Army they moved to Millington where they settled and raised their family.

Mary leaves her daughters. Sharon and Bill Garrett, Cathy Streeter - John Pease. She leaves also 6 grandchildren; Bryon DeOrnellas- Gina Bailey, Brad and Dawn DeOrnellas, Anne DeOrnellas – Chad Barden, Brent and Dawn Streeter, Brandi and Reggie Michel, Jaime Stokes, and Chris Johnson. Mary leaves also nine great grandchildren. Besides her parents; Mary is preceded in death by her husband Harvey in 1985, and also her three brothers. Respecting Mary’s wishes cremation has taken place. A private family memorial will take place at a later date. Memorial gifts of remembrance can be directed to a charity of one’s choice.
