Mrs. Nancy Detgen

Mrs. Nancy L. Detgen of Millington passed away early Sunday morning March 10, 2013 at her residence with her family at her side, Nancy was 73.

Nancy was born on January 1, 1940 in Kindee, Michigan and was the daughter of the late James and Isabelle (McAllister) Badgley. On January 14, 1956 Nancy married her husband of 57 years Glenn Detgen. Nancy was employed for 22 years with the K-MART Department Store working most of her time with K-MART as a clerk at the customer service desk. Nancy loved spending time gardening, camping, but most of all she loved spending time with her family, and all of the grand kids.

Nancy leaves her husband Glenn, four children, Susan Detgen, Glenda Detgen-Cunningham, (John Arnold), Dan & Marion Detgen, and Judy & Tom Warner, 8-grandchildren, Matt & Annette Cunningham, Sarah & Brandon Melin, Jessica & Chris Beringer, Christina Detgen (Chad), Ryan Detgen, Jenna Warner, Melissa Detgen, and Tyler Warner, three great-grandchildren, Carter Detgen, and Kaden & Sophia Cunningham. Nancy leaves also her siblings, Clara Ventline, Florence Will, Donna & husband Nick Kloska, Tom & wife June Badgley, Barb Anderson, Ron & wife Marion Badgley, June & husband Tom Fischer, and Carol Badgley, as well as several nieces, nephews, other extended family and friends.

Funeral services for Nancy were held Wednesday March 13, 2013 at the Hanlin Funeral Home in Millington MI. The burial followed at the Millington Twp. Cemetery in Millington. Pastor James Bruner delivered the funeral message and closing prayers at the cemetery.
