Mrs. Rose Draper

Mrs. Rose Draper of Millington, Michigan passed away early Friday afternoon June 10, 2016 at her residence, Rose was 84.

Rose was born in Montrose Township, Michigan on September 27, 1931 and was the daughter of Joel and Edna (Mull) Cogswell. On March 10, 1956 Rose married Theodore (Ted) Draper, Ted has preceded her in death in May of 1999. Rose has been a long time member of St. Paul Lutheran Church.

Rose leaves her children. Carolyn (Draper) Howe, Theodore (Ted) Draper, and Don W. Draper, 10 grandchildren, 9-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other extended family. Besides her husband and parents, Rose is also preceded in death by a daughter Sue (Draper) Hibbard. Rose is also preceded by her siblings.

The Draper family will receive friends at the Hanlin Funeral Home in Millington, MI on Tuesday June 14, 2016 from 2:00pm until 8:00 pm. There will also be a time of visitation at the St. Paul Church on Wednesday after 10:00 am until services begin. Funeral services for Rose will be held at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Millington, MI on Wednesday June 15, 2016 at 11:00 am, with the burial to follow at the Millington Twp. Cemetery. Pastor James Bruner will deliver the funeral message, and the committal prayers at the cemetery. Memorial gifts can be directed to St. Paul Lutheran Church, or a charity of your choice.
