Mrs. RoseMary Doyle

October 19, 1930 — February 2, 2016

Mrs. RoseMary (Spencer) Doyle of Millington, Michigan formerly of Sterling, Michigan passed from our world into God’s Kingdom early Tuesday morning February 2, 2016, RoseMary was 85.


RoseMary was born on October 19, 1930 and was the daughter of the late Walter and Clarissa (Rockefeller) Spencer, RoseMAry grew up in the Sterling area and graduated from the Sterling High School. On November 7, of 1952 RoseMAry married Mr. Robert (Bob) Doyle, and together they celebrated 50 years of marriage, For 40 plus years RoseMAry looked after many people by operating her adult foster care home. She was a very active member in the Pineview Mennonite Church, where she help on many funeral dinners, and also assisted in wedding celebrations.


RoseMary leaves her family; Shirley Wilson, Alan and LeAnne Doyle, Steve and Cheryl Doyle, Crystal Edwards, and Darrell McRae, She leaves also 18 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 3-great-great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends. Besides her parents RoseMary is also preceded in death by her husband Bob in 2002, a daughter in-law Pamela in 1994, a son in-law Allen Wilson in 2010, and three brothers and two sisters.


RoseMary will lie in state at the Pinevine Mennonite Church 4415 Swaffer Road Vassar, Michigan 48768 where the Doyle family will receive friends on Thursday 1:00 pm until 8:00 pm and also on Friday for a brief visitation an hour prior to the services. Funeral services for RoseMary will also be held at the Pineview Mennonite Church on Friday February 5, 2016 beginning at 1:00 pm. She will be laid to rest at the Pineview Mennonite Cemetery. Pastor Roger Hasen will deliver the funeral message, and the committal services at the cemetery. Memorial gifts of remembrance can be directed to a charity of your choice.
