MAYVILLE, formerly MILLINGTON – Mr. Robert “Bob” Sergent, 68, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Bob was born on August 2, 1957, in Flint, Michigan, to parents Norwood & Wanda Sergent (Deland). On August 21, 1976, he married the love of his life, Karen Dawn McClenathen. Together they shared countless memories, raised their three daughters, Candice, Amanda, and Christa, and celebrated over 47 years of marriage. Sadly, Karen passed away on November 19, 2023, and Bob missed her dearly. It brings us comfort that they are reunited again eternally. In his working years, Bob was a skilled mechanic and devoted farmer. He was a longtime member of the Flint Motorcycle Club and enjoyed building mud trucks, riding his motorcycle and side-by-side. Bob enjoyed time spent in nature, hunting, and tinkering with projects in his yard. Above all, Bob’s happiest moments were spent with his family, and he cherished the time that he spent with them. He will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his daughters: Candice (Jon Hirzel) Tatro, Amanda (Matt) Lantzy, and Christa Louks; grandchildren: Lily Sergent, AJ Louks, Nick Corrigan, Jeremy (Bri) Corrigan, Dakota Tatro, Shianne Tatro, Savannah Tatro, and Caitlin (Alex) Barstoff; great-grandchildren, Waylon, Sophia, Madi, Ramon, Andrew, Ny’ova, and one on the way; as well as his four-legged family: Turnip the dog; cats, Tigger, Armani, Penelope, and Benny; as well as other family members.

Bob is reunited with his beloved wife, Mrs. Karen Sergent; parents, Norwood & Wanda Sergent; in-laws, John & Ruby McClenathen; beloved yellow lab, Winter, and Staffordshire terrier, Tucker.

A Celebration of Bob’s life will be held at the Flint Motorcycle Club 9244 E Farrand Rd Otisville, MI 48463 on August 2, 2026, from 2:00-5:00 p.m.
