Robert (Bob) Doolan Jr.

Mr. Robert (Bob) Doolan Jr. of Reese, Michigan passed away suddenly Friday December 9, 2022, at the age of 68.

Bob was the son of the late Robert & Joan (Martin) Doolan and was born in Flint, Michigan on April 15,1954. Bob served 7 years in the US-Army as an MP. On October 29, 2003, Bob married Kellie (Pierce) Atkins, and together they have celebrated 19 years of marriage. He for many years was an Independent Distributor for the Hostess Cake Company.  Bob loved to play golf, golfing on leagues at the Reese Golf course. He stood strong and true to the U of M teams, and he loved the Marvel movies.  Bobs biggest joy in life was family, and the grandkids. Though he’s gone to soon his love and legacy will live on forever.

Bob leaves to cherish his many memories, his wife Kellie. He also leaves two daughters: Jennifer (Glen) Burkhart, and Missy (Atkins) McIntyre.  His five grandchildren; Breanna, Brandon, Wanya, Finn, and Abbi, His siblings; three sisters, Patty, Debbie, and Mary, two brothers; Mike and Dan, several nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Besides his parents Bob is preceded in death by a son Christopher.

The family has honored Bob’s request and cremation has taken place. The Doolan family greet friends on Thursday December 15,2022 beginning at 10:00 am at the Vassar Baptist Church.
