Robert (Bob) Gifford of Millington, Michigan passed away unexpectedly, early Thursday morning, September 10, 2020, Bob was 59.
Bob was born in Flint, Michigan on June 1, 1961, and grew up in Otter Lake. He was the son of the late Victor & Winona (Acre) Gifford.
On August 3, 1985 Bob married Miss Tina Woolwine, and they have celebrated 35 years of marriage. He never missed a day to let her know how much he loved her. Bob owned and operated CMR Tractors in Millington. Bob was a loving husband, father, and gramps. Always willing to lend a hand anywhere he could. Whether it was fixing a car, tractor, or a home improvement project. He would do anything to help anyone and would not quit until the job was done and done right. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all.
Bob leaves his wife Tina. He also leaves a daughter and son in-law Amanda (Mike) Robinet, and son Tyler Gifford; two grandchildren, Lilia, and Cole Robinet. He leaves four sisters: Vicki (Tom), Salvador, Cindy Alsup, Brenda (Dave) Sredich, and Barb Goddard, a brother Tony (Christi) Gifford. He also leaves Sister in law Donna (Lavon) Wright, Brother in law Jake (Karen) Woolwine and Father and Mother in law Basil and Nancy Woolwine. Besides his immediate family he leaves several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many special friends. Tina and the family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation to Bob’s home care nurses, especially Barb Gagnon. Besides his parents Bob is also preceded in death by a brother Rodney, and his Uncle Bob Gifford.
The Gifford family will receive friends at the Hanlin Funeral Home in Millington, MI on Monday September 14, 2020 from 4:00 pm until8:00 pm. Funeral services for Bob will be on Tuesday September 15, 2020 at 11:00 am at the Hanlin Funeral Home with the burial to follow at the Millington Township Cemetery. Pastor Greg Capsule will deliver the eulogy and the closing prayer at the cemetery. Memorial Gifts of Remembrance can be directed to a charity of one’s choice. There will be a gathering at Bob's home following the service.
