FOSTORIA – Mr. Ronald Gary Leix, age 86, passed away peacefully on December 2, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

Gary was born on May 29, 1939, in Mayville, Michigan, to Wilfred & Madeline (Valentine) Leix. Before retiring, Gary was a skilled trades supervisor with General Motors. He honorably served in the U.S. Army. On October 1, 1960, he wed the love of his life, Geneva June Schlosser. Together they shared countless memories, raised their sons, and celebrated 65 years of marriage. He loved to spend time in his garden and with his family.

He is forever loved by his wife, Mrs. Geneva Leix; sons, Ronald Leix, and Darin Leix; grandchildren, Alex Leix, and Ryan (Gabby) Leix; great-grandchildren, Roan, Gus, and Griffin; siblings, Richard (Linda) Leix, Patricia (Archie) Nelson, Wayne (Cheryl) Leix, and Teri Leix; brother-in-law, Butch Vaubel, Step-Mother Shirley Leix; as well as nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Wilfred & Madeline Leix; sister, Beverly Vaubel; and brother-in-law, Robert Smith.
