Russell Lansford

Russell W. (Russ) Lansford a lifelong Millington resident, passed away early Monday October 15, 2012 with his wife and family at his side, Russ was 56.

Russell was the son of Billy & Elizabeth (Deed) Lansford and was born in Jonesboro Arkansas on July 10th, 1956. On December 15, 1979 Russ married Diana Fifield and together they have celebrated 32 years of marriage.

Russ was employed for 9 years at Vassar Manufacturing until his retirement after which he became self employed. Russ had many pastimes to keep him busy; he loved racing, hunting, fishing, gardening, his one true passion was duck hunting with family and friends.

Russ leaves to cherish his many wonderful memory's his wife Diana, three daughters and a son in-law Paula & husband Eric Emmendorfer, Rebecca Lansford, and Shelly Lansford, grandchildren; Jacob, Kevin, Adrianna, and Blake, two brothers and a sister in-law; Bob Lansford, Rick & wife Laurie Lansford, sister and brother in-law, Rhonda & husband Al Jordon, Russ's parents Billy & Elizabeth Lansford, as well as several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other extended family and many friends.

Funeral services were held at the Hanlin Funeral Home on Wednesday Oct.-17th. Pastor Greg Capsule delivered the funeral message and the closing prayers at the cemetery. Memorial Gifts of remembrance can be directed to a charity of one's choice.
