Shari Schnettler

Shari A. Schnettler of Millington, Michigan passed away early Monday morning October 22, 2018, Shari was 52.

Shari was the daughter of Karen Schnettler and the late Carl Schnettler, and was born in Flint, Michigan on May 14, 1966. Shari grew up in Millington, and graduated for Millington High School class of 1984. After high school Shari furthered her education by graduating from Delta College of Saginaw, Michigan with an associate’s degree. Shari lived in San Antonio Texas for several years. She enjoyed spending time with family and reading. She loved to watch the Detroit Tigers, and was a fan of all types of music, but she especially loved Prince.

Shari leaves her family. Her mother; Mrs. Karen Schnettler, and a son Ryan Schnettler. She leaves also two sisters; Susie (Kirk) Atkins, and Lori Schnettler. Her two nephews; Josh and Tyler Atkins, niece Missy McIntyre, and a great nephew; Finn. She leaves also aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family.  Besides her father Shari is also preceded in death by her grandparents.

In keeping with Shari’s request cremation has taken place. There will be a celebration of her life on Sunday November 4th 2018 beginning at 1:30 pm at the Vassar First Presbyterian Church, in Vassar, Michigan (250 W. Huron Ave Vassar, Michigan 48768). The Schnettler family will receive friends at the church also on Sunday November 4th, 2018 beginning at 12:30 pm. Memorial Gifts of Remembrance can be directed to either the Huntington Disease Foundation [Michigan Chapter 1174 James Savage Rd Midland MI 48640] or to a charity of one’s choice.
