Shirley Joanne Yeo

MILLINGTON TWP. - Shirley Joanne Yeo, age 81, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, February 8^th, 2023, surrounded by her loving family.

Shirley was born in Flint on August 27^th, 1941, to parents Paul & Bernice (Charboneau) McAllister and grew up alongside her sisters, Christine, and Paula. She was an animal lover and loved to fish. Further, she enjoyed camping and playing bingo and had a keen interest in aliens and U.F.O.s. Above all, Shirley was devoted to and loved her family deeply. She will be remembered for her caring nature and as a maternal figure to many.

She is forever loved by her children: Debra Jobson, Steven Yeo, and Daniel Yeo; 7 grandchildren; Mandy, Jennifer, Scott, Faith, Madison, Haley, and Harley. Also 7 great-grandchildren; sister, Christine Canfield; nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Dee-Dee Yeo-Zalewski; parents, Paul & Bernice; and sister, Paula Baker.

The family will welcome guests to Hanlin Funeral Home – Millington, on Tuesday, February 14^th, 2023, from 12 p.m. - 2 p.m. Services for Shirley will begin at 2 p.m. Immediately following, Shirley will be laid to rest in Millington Twp. Cemetery.
