Terrance Baker

February 5, 1940 — February 19, 2016

Terrance Henry Baker was called to his heavenly home on the morning of Friday, February 19, 2016 after a brief stay at the Veteran’s Hospital in Saginaw, MI.
Terrance was a faithful man who chose to serve his country in the U.S. Army in Germany. He received a Good Conduct Medal as well as Sharpshooter and Gunner Badges prior to his honorable discharge. Terrance went on to be a hardworking, faithful GM employee and perform data processing for EDS.
Terrance’s life was filled with the joy that can only come from loving and serving others. The delight of his life was his eleven children each their own unique blessing. He is survived by all of them: Theresa (Don) Fischer, Terrance (Tammy) Baker, Jr., Edward (Wendy) Baker, Timothy (Dana) Baker, Brian Baker, Laurie Lynn & Tommy Johnson, Cork Severt, Ann Walker, Christine (Craig) Beardsley, Jack (Tina) Severt and Scott Severt. He also had the opportunity to care for four adopted children: David, Charen, Kadence and Frederick Baker. He also has one sister Patricia Kolar. He was pre-deceased by his parents Henry and Ida Baker and by his first wife Diane (Polzin) Baker and his second wife Paula (McCalister) Baker.
While continuing to enjoy and enrich the lives of his many children, he lived to encourage and cheer on his 21 grandchildren by watching them whenever they participated in activities.
Terrance loved to help anyone God placed in his path. If he was helping, he was happy. He even showed extraordinary love for his French fry loving, ice cream cone licking dog, Ginger.
