Wendi Hollister

Wendi D. (Barnard) Hollister of the Fostoria and Millington, Michigan areas passed away at her residences in Fostoria, MI Friday October 7, 2016. Wendi was 50.

Wendi was the daughter of the late Ronald and Dorothy (Hocum) Barnard, and was born on February 10, 1966 in Flint, Michigan. Wendi grew up in the Millington area and graduated from Millinton High School. She was most recently employed as a clerk at the Fostoria Grocery Store in Fostoria, Michigan. Wendi will be missed by many, but will be remembered for her love to fish, and the love she had for her animals.

Wendi leaves to cherish her memory. Her children; son and daughter in-law, Dustin and wife Amanda Hollister, daughter Adrian Hollister, and her friend Joshua Kirchner, three grandchildren; Andria, Cole, and Cade. Wendi leaves also her siblings. Michael and wife Mikki Barnard, Steve and wife Deborah Barnard, Sharon and husband Bill Stoolmaker, Lori and husband Andy Mead, Ronald Barnard and Kerri Jean Barnard, and also her many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends, and her pets.

The family has honored Wendi’s wishes and cremation has taken place. As of the time of her passing a memorial gathering date has not yet been set. The family is thinking that a celebration of Wendi’s life may take place sometime in the summer 2017.
